Copenhagen

Copenhagen is the capital of Denmark and is famous for the shopping street Ströget, a rich café life and the "Little Mermaid" statue. In Nyhavn you will find the oldest houses in the city, this is also where author Hans Christian Andersen lived and it is a must for visitors. The city also holds many green oases, for instance the Kongens Have (the King's Garden) and Rosenborg Castle.
 
Copenhagen has a rich cultural life and the Copenhagen people recently got a new opera house, designed by the famous architect Henning Larsen. Danish designers and architects have created some of the most famous brands in the world, such as Arne Jacobsen, Bang Olufsen and Royal Copenhagen porcelain.
