Itinerary
Day 1, Oslo
Arrive in Oslo by flight - welcome to Scandinavia!
Taxi driver will meet you in arrival hall and take you to hotel in the city.
The capital of Norway, Oslo, is located at the end of a 100 kilometer long fjord and surrounded by green hills and a vast forest area. The name Oslo may have meant "the meadow of the gods" at one time!
During your stay in Oslo we recommend you to include a 24-hour Oslo Card which entitles you to free public transportation and free entrances to almost all museum in the city.
After checking in we suggest you to join a 2 h sit-in-coach sightseeing tour including the famous Vigeland Park, Holmenkollen Ski jump and Oslo City Centre.
Spend some time in Oslo and enjoy the water front at Aker Brygge and the Akerhus Fortress. Aker Brygge has many nice restaurants and we recommend you to have a nice dinner with fresh Norwegian salmon.

Day 2, Oslo
Breakfast served at hotel.
Spend one day in Oslo. Free for activities and visits to museums such as Vikingship, Kontiki and Folkmuseum.
You also have time to take a cruise tour in the Oslofjord.

Day 3, Oslo - Flåm
Breakfast served at hotel.
Take Norway in Nutshell from Oslo to Bergen via Flåm.
08.11 Train departs from Oslo central station
(we recommend to take taxi to station from hotel)
Change your voucher to tickets at the train station before departure!
13.00 Change train in Myrdal to the beautiful Flåmsbanen train from Myrdal to Flåm.
13.50 Arrive at Flåm - situated in the innermost part of the Aurlandsfjord, a tributary of the 204 kilometres long and up to 1308 metres deep Sognefjord.
Flåm station is on walking distance (100 m) to hotel.
Afternoon free to explore the surroundings in Flåm.
Overnight in Flåm, Fretheim Hotel or similar. Dinner included.
Day 4, Flåm - Bergen
Breakfast served at hotel.
Morning free to discover the area around Flåm.
13.20 Departure by fjord cruise from Flåm to Gudvangen.
Pier is just outside the hotel.
15.30 Arrive in Gudvangen.
15.40 Bus from Gudvangen to Voss.
16.55 Arrive in Voss.
17.53 Train from Voss to Bergen.
19.05 Arrive in Bergen train station.
We recommend to take taxi from train station to hotel)
Bergen is a small city and all sightseeing places can be reached by foot. We recommend you to visit Bryggen Harbour with its gabled pack houses, the old Hanseatic Quarter, the historic Maria Church and the fish market.
Overnight in Bergen, Thon Hotel Bergen Brygge or similar.
Day 5, Bergen - Honningsvåg
Breakfast served at hotel.
Take a taxi from hotel to airport.
Take the morning flight to Alta. Change flight in Oslo.
Arrive in Alta in early afternoon. Spend some time there before taking bus to Honningsvåg.
The bus to Honningsvåg actually departs from Alta airport but if you don´t want to wait there we recommend a taxi to city centre for some sightseeing and then take bus from central bus station. Voucher will be valid from both city centre and airport.
Spend the night at Rica hotel Honningvåg or similar.
Day 6, Honningsvåg
Breakfast served at hotel.
Day free for optional activities in Honningsvåg,
In the late evening you will go on an excursion tour to North Cape.
21.30 Take a public bus to North Cape and enjoy the magnificent sub-Arctic landscape, the northernmost point on the European continent.
Bus departs and arrives at "Nordkapphuset", on walking distance to hotel.
22.15 Arrive in North Cape.
Entrance to North Cape Hall, including cetrificate.
00.30 Bus back to Honningsvåg and your hotel (you will arrive at Nordkapphuset at 01.15)
Spend the night at Rica hotel Honningvåg or similar.
Day 7, Honningsvåg - Tromsö
05.50 Go to pier in early morning to board the “World's Most Beautiful Sea Voyage” Hurtigruten to Tromsö.
Hurtigruten pier is on walking distance from hotel (about 70 m).
06.15 Ship M/S Nordnorge leave Honningsvåg.
Inside twin sharing cabin, with toilet and shower.
Breakfast and dinner on board (lunch at own expense).
23.45 Arrive in Tromsö in late evening. Taxi transfer to hotel.
Overnight in Tromso, Clarion Hotel Bryggen or similar.
Day 8, Tromsö - Narvik
Breakfast served at hotel.
Morning free for own activities.
Tromso is located a mere 2000 kilometers from the North Pole, this city entertains visitors and inhabitants in this lively, warm and exotic city! Tromso can provide such diverse selection of sights, attractions and activities.
You explore city of Tromso on own or try some summer activities such as
* visiting the Polar Museum.
* Visit Polaria - a knowledge based adventure centre.
* Go on a fishing tour
15.55 Take bus in the afternoon to Narvik.
Bus departs 200 m from hotel, at a place called Prostneset.
20.06 Arrive in Narvik city centre in the evening. 50 m walk to hotel.
Spend the night at hotel Quality Hotel Grand Royal in Narvik or similar.
Day 9, Narvik- Kiruna
Breakfast served at hotel.
Spend some free time in Narvik - We recommend you to visit the Polar Zoo (9 EUR pp).
17.45 Take train to Kiruna (2nd class with SJ, 3 h ).
Train departs from Narvik central station on walking distance from hotel.
20.45 Arrive in Kiruna central station.
We recommend a taxi from station to hotel.
Overnight at hotel Scandic Ferrum Kiruna or similar.
Day 10, Kiruna - Stockholm
Breakfast served at hotel.
Whole day for optional activities in Kiruna.
Example:
* Visit a sami-family and experience genuine native culture with reindeers and lunch by the fire in a teepee.
* Go on a midnight sun tour to the mountain Luossavaaraby.
* Go on a boat tour on Torne River or rafting on Kalix River.
16.30 Go from hotel to train station. We recommend a taxi transfer.
17.35 Take overnight train to Stockholm, 2nd class 3-berth cabin.
Separate cabins for men and women.
Day 11, Stockholm
Breakfast at own expense on board.
10.20 Arrive in Stockholm by train from Kiruna.
Taxi transfer from train station to hotel.
Leave luggage at hotel and check in (rooms not available until later).
We recommend you to buy a 24-hour Stockholm Card valid for all public transportation and entrances to many of the city's museums and popular attractions, including the new attraction SKYVIEW which takes you up on the rooftop of Globen Stadium.
With the Stockholm card you also get a discount on a 1.5 hours sit-in-coach sightseeing tour in Stockholm. Audio guiding in various languages is available. Take a look at the City Hall, constructed in National Romantic style where each year on December 10th the Nobel price banquette takes place.
See the Old Town, which is in direct contrast with today’s modern city centre.The tour ends in the city centre and you have the afternoon to discover Stockholm on your own.
We suggest a visit to Vasa Museum to see the warship Vasa – the only remaining, intact 17th century ship in the world, visit Skansen open-air museum on the island of Djurgården or take an archipelago boat trip. Please contact us for bookings.
In the evening, take the opportunity to visit Casino Cosmopol.

Day 12, Stockholm

After breakfast it’s time to leave Scandinavia for now, hopefully you will have a lot of great memories to bring back home.
