Ivalo Igloo Village The Igloo Village Kakslauttanen is located  30 min drive from Ivalo. The village contains comfortable first-class log cottages, reflecting the traditional Sami style. There is a variety of Sami cuisine restaurants in the area and a genuine smoke sauna, an integral part of the Finnish heritage. From December to April you can also stay in one of the ice igloos.
