China’s Terracotta Army to be exhibited in Stockholm
A rare exhibition of China’s Terracotta Army is to be shown in a subterranean exhibit space, under the Museum of Far Eastern Antiquities in Stockholm.
Three hundred and twenty artifacts from eleven museums and more than ten excavation sites will be exhibited.
The exhibition presents the story of China’s from 221 BC – 220 AD, featuring clay soldiers and a large collection of never before exhibited objects from five imperial tombs. Visitors to the exhibit will be able to see how China was once created and how this vast empire was portrayed through monumental burial complexes that united China and created the Middle Kingdom, a sophisticated empire that lasted for more than two thousand years.
