Oslo – Flåm -Bergen – Balestrand – Geiranger – Lillehammer – Oslo

Day 1, Oslo

Arrive in Oslo by flight.

Pick up by coach at the airport and transfer to the city where you will meet with a private English speaking guide. A 3-hours sightseeing tour including Vigeland Park, Parliament Square, outside look of the Royal Palace, National Galleries, Karl Johan shopping street, City Hall, Akershus Castle and the Norwegian Defence Museum, gives you a good introduction to the city.

After the sightseeing, transfer to your hotel to check in.

Day 2, Oslo – Hadeland

Breakfast served at your hotel.

09:00 Coach will meet you at the hotel for tour to Hadeland.
Arrive in Hadeland where you will visit the famous glass workshop and glass museum.
After lunch transfer back to Oslo, with some stops for sightseeing on the way.
Arrive in Oslo (at 17.00 at latest).
In the evening we recommend you to visit Aker Brygge or go on a sightseeing cruise tour on the Oslofjord.

Day 3, Oslo – Flåm

Check out.

Meet your coach at hotel and transfer to Flåm in the fjords, situated in the innermost part of the Aurlandsfjord, a tributary of the 204 kilometres long and up to 1308 metres deep Sognefjord.

Upon arrival you will take a ride on the picturesque train to Myrdal and then back to Flåm.

Day 4, Flåm – Bergen

Breakfast served at your hotel.

Join a stunning fjord cruise from Flåm to Gudvangen.

Coach will meet you in Gudvangen and take you to Bergen. Bergen is Norway’s second largest city and the world’s only city surrounded by 7 mountains and 7 fjords. The city offers a charming atmosphere and almost all attractions can be reached by foot.

Check in at hotel upon arrival.
Afternoon free to stroll around in the city.
We recommend you to take a ride on the funicular to Mt. Fløien for panoramic views of the city and fjords way below.

Day 5, Bergen – Balestrand

Breakfast served at your hotel.

Go on a 3-hour sightseeing tour together with a private guide. The tour includes the famous Bryggen Harbour with its gabled pack houses and the old Hanseatic Quarter. You will also visit the picturesque fish market.

In the afternoon transfer to Balestrand. A ferry will take you from Vangsnes to Dragsvik and from there coach will continue to Balestrand. Balestrand is located in the northern part of Sognefjord and is one of the most beautiful fjords. With a length of 205 km and depth of 1308 meter, it is the longest and deepest fjord in the whole world.

Day 6, Balestrand – Geiranger

Breakfast served at your hotel.

Pick up by coach at the hotel for transfer from Balestrand to Geiranger, including a short ferry ride from Anda to Lote. Arrive in Geiranger in the afternoon. If time allows, you can visit the Norwegian fjord centre which describes the history of the mountains, the fjords and the local people. There are also lots of shops and cafeteria in this area.

Day 7, Geiranger – Trollstigen – Lillehammer

Breakfast served at your hotel.

Meet with your coach in the morning. Start the day with a tour to Trollstigen in Romsdal, about 1 h drive from Geiranger. Trollstigen, in the heart of Romsdal, is one of the most visited attractions in Norway. The mountains which encircle Trollstigen road are enormous. Trollveggen (TrollWall) is the highest vertical mountain wall in Europe. It is 5950 feet from the valley to the top of the wall. (Trollstigen opens in second half of May depending on weather conditions).
Transfer Geiranger-Lillehammer in the afternoon (394 km), via Dombås and Gudbrandsdalen. Gudbrandsdalen is a valley and traditional district in the Norwegian county of Oppland.
Arrive in Lillehammer late evening.

Day 8, Lillehammer – Oslo Airport

Breakfast served at your hotel.

Transfer by coach back to Oslo airport for flight back home.
